Exams and Homework
The grade for the course will tentatively be determined by the
problem sets (~20%), your lab reports (~20%), a midterm
tentatively scheduled for Oct 27 (~25%) and the final exam (~35%).
Homework assignments will usually be handed out
Thursday and available online, and will typically be due the
following Thursday. The assignments will be posted
on this web page and on canvas.
The final is scheduled for Thursday 10-12,
December 8.
I'd like you to primarily think about the homework assignments
yourself. There is no better way to learn the material
than to puzzle over it. If you encounter difficulties, come talk to
me or the teaching assistants.
Assignments
To avoid redundancy, the problem sets and
solutions will only be posted on canvas.
